Men’s Ministry – Director: Deacon John Head
The “Brotherhood” of Rehoboth Temple, along with the “Men of Valor and Empowerment” (MOVE) and are an integral example of “stewardship in service” to the congregation for the sake of bringing others to Christ and perform church-related duties and service! Deacon John Head’s conscientious approach to spreading the Gospel is a testament to his dedication and hard work in the church. Mighty “men of valor” are needed to enhance and grow this important church-based ministry. His “Men’s Ministry” needs more devoted, enthusiastic and morally strong men of Faith to carry out the pastors bold charge for this year and beyond. Women’s Ministry – Director:
Dr. Rose Handon
The “Women’s Ministry” at Rehoboth Temple works diligently through the Holy Spirit under the direction of Dr. Rose Handon for the congregation in the operation of the “Missionaries” and the “RTC Women’s Council.” Dr. Handon is dedicated to the organizational endeavor of her ministry and labors to develop quality congregation-based initiatives in association with the ministry. This ministry needs caring women who can cultivate and nurture younger sisters to grow and become the “new leadership” of this most important institution in our church. This will allow Rehoboth and The COOLJC to grow and proliferate. Pastoral Care Ministry – Director: Elder John Roebuck
The ministry of “Pastoral Care” is a multi-tiered undertaking that overlaps several operations of the church at times. When it comes to “Benevolence” and “Bereavement” Elder Roebuck can have a pretty full plate. Add coordination of ministerial staff for visiting and ministering to “Sick & Shut-In” and Caring for seniors and you have a very important ministry at Rehoboth Temple. Elder Roebuck also handles Lay Counselors and Alter Workers. These “keepers of the faith” are usually the first contact to begin the process of claiming souls following Apostle Berry’s weekly sermon. Evangelism & Community Service Ministry – Lady Norma Berry
The “Evangelism and Community Service Ministry” under the anointed direction of Lady Norma Berry coordinates “Global Missions,” and the “Rehoboth Temple Community Table” in order to serve the church body and bring “Souls to Christ” through community outreach locally, regionally and internationally. Missions carry the Gospel to all peoples of all nations. Rehoboth Temple’s global outreach is known to be one of the best organizationally. This strengthens The COOJC. The future of the Evangelism ministry is poised to develop a Rehoboth Newsletter to better spread the Gospel in Central Ohio and bring in new congregation members in 2016!
